Want the vintage charm bar at your next event? Get in touch!
The Vintage Charm Bar is a build-your-own necklace or bracelet experience where you choose a chain and vintage charms, and we hand-assemble the finished piece. Every charm is authentic vintage or deadstock, so no two builds turn out the same. It's fully online: pick your components, we build and ship.
A 16" chain sits at the collarbone (choker-length), 18" sits at or just below the collarbone, and 20" falls closer to the upper chest. Most people choose 18" as an everyday length or 20" if they stack with other necklaces.
Our cord necklaces have a 2-inch extender so can be worn at any length between 18 and 20 inches.
Yes, individual vintage charms are available to purchase separately if you already have a chain or bracelet you'd like to add to. Just select whichever charms you want, add to cart, and checkout as normal.
Our charms are made from a mix of vintage base metals, including brass, gold plated brass, and silver plated metal, sourced from original vintage and deadstock jewelry components. Materials vary by charm since each piece comes from a different era and maker. Exact material is listed on each product page.
Pieces are sourced from estate sales, vintage dealers, and original deadstock inventory rather than new manufactured items or dropshipped.
New old stock (NOS), also called deadstock, refers to original vintage jewelry or components that were manufactured decades ago but never sold or worn. It's not reproduction or modern jewelry made to look vintage; it's genuine unused inventory from past production runs. That's why quantities are limited and pieces don't restock the same way twice.
Patina is the natural tarnishing or color change that develops on metal jewelry over time from air, moisture, and skin oils; it's not damage or a defect. It's especially common on vintage brass, copper, and silver pieces and is part of what makes vintage jewelry look vintage. Patina can be gently cleaned if you prefer a brighter finish, but it will not affect how the piece wears.
There is no legal or regulated definition of "hypoallergenic" in jewelry, so we don't use that term. Because these are vintage and deadstock pieces, exact metal content isn't always verifiable, and some pieces may contain nickel or mixed alloys common to the era they're from. If you have a known metal sensitivity, we recommend checking the listed materials on each product page or reaching out before purchasing.
Clean vintage jewelry with a soft, dry cloth; avoid water, ultrasonic cleaners, and harsh chemicals, which can damage plating, stones, and patina. Store pieces flat or hanging in a dry place, ideally separated so pieces don't scratch each other. Avoiding excess moisture and direct sunlight will also help slow tarnishing over time.

Since charms are vintage and deadstock, we can't guarantee that charms will be restocked. If there is a charm you're interested in that's sold out, fill out the waitlist form on the product page. This gives me an idea of products that are in-demand and you'll be notified if we're able to restock.
